Having many years of experience managing finances and budgeting for both public and private organizations, Jim is well suited for his role as Ajar's financial manager. In addition to "keeping the books", he also keeps an eye to the future relative to cost effectiveness and profit margins for the business.
Jim graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1982 with his Ph.D. in education and administration. After 40 years of public and private service, he now applies his extensive knowledge to his work at Ajar as well as his volunteer work as a board of trustees' member for a charter school.
Jim is an avid antique automobile fan, especially for cars from the 1930s and 1950s.
